Intro

Blogging is tough for a person who doesn't like sharing, but since I am about to embark on an extended bicycle trip around the US (and maybe parts of Canada, who knows?), and people seem both interested in my escapades and concerned for my safety, I thought perhaps a blog would both entertain and put people's minds at ease (this is for you mom!)

I hope to update somewhat regularly, but it will all depend on my access to the internets, my energy level, and how chatty I'm feeling...
